Our Last Concert of 2024 🎼 — A Perfect Finale!
Christmas is just around the corner! Time flies! A huge thank you to all the parents and students who joined our annual Christmas concert. The performances were absolutely wonderful and full of variety — from erhu, singing, dancing, marimba, to four-hand duets and more! We had two sessions, and honestly, we didn’t expect the venue to be so lively and packed, every seat taken! A total of 40 students participated, and for some, this was their very first performance — let’s give them a big round of applause ! We hope to have ALL our students perform together in our big summer concert next time! Here’s to making our future music events even better! Special thanks to all the guests, our photographer, and everyone who helped with the event — we couldn’t have done it without you. Looking back at 2024, our studio has made steady progress. In addition to organizing many events, many of our students achieved outstanding results in competitions and RCM exams. We are incredibly proud of the progress you’ve made! Thank you to the parents for your trust, to the students for your hard work, and to our amazing teachers for your dedication and persistence. It’s because of all of you that this journey is possible!
See you in 2025!

2024 November
we hosted our very first Group Piano Performance Class at our Burnaby studio! 🎹 The kids learned while performing, gaining valuable stage experience and teacher feedback, all while interacting with each other. The classroom was filled with laughter and joy — such a fun and lively atmosphere! The purpose and benefits of group classes include:
💎 A group performance setting is more dynamic than one-on-one lessons, fostering peer interaction.
💎 Students observe and evaluate each other, learning collaboratively.
💎 Build stage experience, making performance a regular part of piano learning.
💎 Public performance helps students quickly identify and correct mistakes.
💎 Boost confidence and sense of achievement.

2024 May Tomlee New Student Stage Class

Huge thanks to all the students & parents for coming! Special shoutout to Ben Liao, Sarah Tao, Emily Liu & mentor Lucia Chan for making this day possible. Our little beginners were nervous on their first stage — a few mistakes happened, but with guidance, the second performance was AMAZING!
2024 April Rideau Senior Residence Student Performance

🎶 April 20 – Rideau Senior Residence Charity Concert 🎶
Seventeen of our students shared music and love with the seniors, some performing on stage for the very first time! 💕 After the concert, children also gifted handmade crafts—drawings, bracelets, keychains, and more—bringing big smiles to the residents. The seniors praised the students’ politeness and music, saying the performance brought warmth and joy to their lives. Parents were touched to see their children grow in confidence while spreading kindness. A truly unforgettable Saturday afternoon—thank you to all our students and families for making this meaningful event possible! 🌸
2024 January | New Year Recital
New Year Concert – January 14, 2024
Our four concerts were a full success, with over forty young pianists shining on stage! Hosts Emily Liu and Seira Hayakashi guided the program, featuring piano four-hands, flute duets, and music from Baroque to Jazz to Chinese works. Special thanks to Ms. Ye Jia (Yiye Arts), who brought an adorable children’s dance performance to the stage. Students performed from beginner to advanced levels with growing confidence and poise—teachers couldn’t be prouder! A gentle reminder: when memorizing, don’t rely only on muscle memory—learn notes and structure carefully for a solid performance. Walk calmly, breathe deeply, and take your time before playing. Here’s to even stronger performances in the future!
